We are a bunch of middle aged people who love to travel and holidaying in places where we rarely see guides holding flags and herds of people marching towards the same destinations. If we “elderly” people can do it, you can too!
When we were younger, we were like most people. We travelled with groups of people we do not know and will never know even after the tour. We go to the same places where 100 other groups go to and we eat practically at the same restaurants that cater to tour groups. We stayed at 3 stars hotels and sometimes even lower if we were to sign up for a cheap tour. How demoralizing is that??
Holidays should be enjoyable, relaxing and with people you can click with. You decide where you want to go, when you want to go and how long you want to stay. There will not be morning calls or alarms. You wake up as and when you feel like it. That is what holidaying is about!
